Me

Blogging is like riding a bike, right?

I left blogging for social media, but now I'm back!

It’s been over ten years since I was a “blogger.” I don’t remember when I started, but I fondly remember not knowing what I was doing, oversharing, and the friends I made along the way. Not to get all boomer on you, but it felt like the Golden Age of blogging and micro-blogging. There was less selling, more sharing. However, I stopped blogging when I started teaching since I was worried my personal life would interfere with my work life somehow. Plus, life was life-ing, social media was becoming mainstream, and like most hobbies, it started to collect dust, and I let it.

With the death of the blue bird (RIP Twitter), I found myself a social media nomad with no place to call home. Sure, Threads has been fun (although it did not gain as much traction as I’d hoped), and I try to post photos of my dog on Instagram regularly, but it doesn’t hit the same. I’ve been thinking about resurrecting my blog for a while now, so here I am (again)!

What will I write about? Whatever I want! That’s the beauty of a blog, bay-beeees!

But a girl needs structure, so I’ll be writing about what I’ve been:

  • Buying
  • Downloading
  • Eating
  • Learning
  • Listening To
  • Playing
  • Reading
  • Watching

So, if you’re into those things and you like photos of my dog, follow along! And let me know if there’s something you think I should write about. I don’t even know how people follow blogs these days, so I’ll also post on my socials when I publish something here.

ok bye for now!
